West Indies: Tropic Fades

Color that evolves through exposure, translated into digitally printed leather and two-tone mesh on the Air Max 95 and the Skylon 11.

I took a market trip to Toronto, where I experienced the Caribana festival and immersed myself in West Indian culture there to help shape the concept authentically.

Across tropical environments, color is rarely static. Sun, salt, rain, heat and time transform the environment: painted architecture fades unevenly, metals oxidize, wood dries and darkens, and layers chip away to reveal the colors beneath. This concept treats patina as something active rather than nostalgic, the design language connecting environment and product.
