How It Was Made

Morgan & Morgan · My Role Designer / Creative Director

It All Started With a Brief

This concept challenged me to think about how deconstructed couture could look on a runway. The Morgan & Morgan team wanted to lean into the injury direction, but not too literally. I needed to push beyond the obvious ideas and look at injury holistically: the aftermath, the vulnerability. Where can I pull textures from? Where do I look for inspiration? How do I bring a law firm and fashion together seamlessly? Morgan & Morgan spends close to a billion dollars a year on marketing, so that part was covered. The open question for me was how to tie in the concept tastefully.
